Report Abuse or Make a Complaint

Chatti is committed to maintaining a safe, secure, and trusted communications environment across our messaging and voice services. We do not tolerate misuse of our platform, including spam, fraud, impersonation, or unauthorised use of Sender IDs or phone numbers.

What Can Be Reported

This page can be used to report any concerns relating to communications activity, including:

  • Unauthorised or misleading Sender ID usage
  • Scam or fraudulent messages or calls
  • Spam or unsolicited communications
  • Impersonation of organisations or individuals
  • Misuse of phone numbers, virtual numbers, or number masking
  • Any activity that may breach Chatti’s policies or applicable regulations

How We Handle Reports

All reports are treated seriously and handled through a structured review process. When you submit a report, Chatti will:

  • Review the information provided
  • Investigate relevant activity, including Sender ID, messaging, and number usage
  • Assess the associated account and traffic behaviour
  • Take appropriate action, which may include restricting or suspending services
  • Escalate serious matters, including suspected fraud or impersonation, to internal compliance personnel

We aim to review and respond within a reasonable timeframe, depending on the nature and complexity of the issue. All reports and outcomes are recorded and retained for compliance and audit purposes.

Information for Recipients

Under Australian regulations, commercial electronic communications must clearly identify the sender and provide a method to opt out of future communications where applicable.
